Welcome to MBTI Personality Test

MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) is one of the world's most widely used personality classification systems, developed from psychologist Carl Jung's theory. Through 60 carefully designed questions, we will help you discover your personality type, understand your strengths, development directions, and suitable career fields.

Extraversion (E) vs Introversion (I)

Where do you get your energy? Extraverts get energy from the external world, introverts from their inner world.

Sensing (S) vs Intuition (N)

How do you gather information? Sensing types focus on concrete facts, intuitive types on overall patterns and possibilities.

Thinking (T) vs Feeling (F)

How do you make decisions? Thinking types base on logical analysis, feeling types on values and others' feelings.

Judging (J) vs Perceiving (P)

How do you approach the external world? Judging types prefer planning and structure, perceiving types prefer flexibility and openness.

Test Tips

  • Answer based on your true thoughts and habits, not what you think you should be
  • Choose the option closest to your daily behavior, don't overthink
  • The test takes about 10-15 minutes, please complete in a quiet environment

Important Note

MBTI is a tool for self-exploration, not for labeling people. There are no good or bad personality types, each type has its unique strengths and value. Test results are for reference only and should not be the sole basis for decision-making. Human personality is complex and changeable, and may develop with age, experience, and environment.

User Guide

Choose Test Version

This tool offers two versions of the MBTI test. The Standard Version contains 60 questions, suitable for quickly understanding your personality type, taking approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The Complete Version contains 93 questions, providing a more comprehensive and in-depth assessment with more accurate results, taking approximately 15-20 minutes. We recommend choosing the Standard Version for first-time testing, and the Complete Version if you need more detailed analysis.

Answer Honestly

During the test, please answer based on your true thoughts and habits, not what you think you should be. Choose the option that most closely matches your daily behavior without overthinking. Each question has two options - select the one that better reflects your personality traits. The test supports going back to modify previous answers, but we recommend answering based on your first instinct.

View Results

After completing all questions, the system will immediately calculate and display your MBTI type (one of 16 types such as INTJ, ENFP, etc.). The results page includes detailed scores for four dimensions, personality type description, personal strengths, development suggestions, and suitable career directions. Each dimension shows your tendency percentage, helping you better understand your personality characteristics.

Understand Results

MBTI divides personality into four dimensions: Extraversion(E)/Introversion(I), Sensing(S)/Intuition(N), Thinking(T)/Feeling(F), and Judging(J)/Perceiving(P). Your type is determined by the combination of these four dimensions. Note that MBTI is a self-exploration tool with no good or bad types - each type has its unique strengths and value. Test results are for reference only and should not be the sole basis for decision-making. Human personality is complex and changeable, potentially developing with age, experience, and environment.

FAQ

Q: What is MBTI?

A: MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) is one of the world's most widely used personality classification systems, derived from psychologist Carl Jung's theory. It categorizes personality into 16 types through four dimensions, helping people understand their personality traits, strengths, and development directions. MBTI has wide applications in career planning, team building, interpersonal relationships, and other fields.

Q: What's the difference between Standard and Complete versions?

A: The Standard Version contains 60 questions covering core characteristics of the four dimensions, suitable for quick assessment, taking about 10-15 minutes. The Complete Version contains 93 questions, providing more comprehensive assessment that can more accurately identify borderline personalities, taking about 15-20 minutes. If you're testing for the first time or have limited time, we recommend the Standard Version; if you need more precise results or are uncertain about your type, choose the Complete Version.

Q: How can I ensure accurate test results?

A: To obtain accurate results, complete the test in a quiet environment without interruptions. Answer based on your true thoughts and daily habits, not what you think you “should” answer. Choose based on your first instinct without over-analyzing. If a question is difficult to decide, select the option that slightly better matches you. There's no time limit, but we recommend completing within 20 minutes to avoid fatigue affecting judgment.

Q: Can my type change?

A: MBTI theory suggests that core personality types are relatively stable, but expression may change with environment, experience, and age. Types in youth may not be obvious and become clearer with improved self-awareness. In different contexts (such as work, family), you may display traits from different dimensions. If test results don't match your self-perception, current state, stress, or environment may have influenced your answers. We recommend retesting after some time (such as 3-6 months) and comparing results.

Q: What can MBTI test results be used for?

A: MBTI results can help you: 1) Better understand your personality traits and behavior patterns; 2) Discover personal strengths and potential development directions; 3) Improve interpersonal relationships by understanding others' different thinking styles; 4) Plan your career by finding work fields suitable for your personality; 5) Enhance team collaboration efficiency by understanding team members' communication styles. However, remember that MBTI is only a reference tool and should not be used to label people or limit personal development.

Q: Why are my results close to 50% on some dimensions?

A: If a dimension score is close to 50% (such as E 52% vs I 48%), it indicates no clear preference on that dimension, possibly possessing both traits. This is common and means you can flexibly switch in different contexts. For example, you might be extraverted at work but more introverted in private life. Focus on dimensions with larger score differences as they better reflect your core personality traits. If multiple dimensions are close to 50%, try the Complete Version for more precise results.
